Meet Matt Stoll

A highly decorated US Naval Officer who has led combat air strikes as an F-18 Hornet Pilot, Matt Stoll believes that the things that matter are worth fighting for.

Matt was inspired by his grandfathers who served in the Navy and Marines to defend his country from the threats faced from the Soviet Union and the evils of communism. Captivated by jets at military air shows as a child, he was driven to become a fighter pilot to help defend his country. With hard work and sacrifice, Matt achieved his goal, becoming an F-18 fighter pilot, flying 44 combat missions in Iraq and Afghanistan, including over Baghdad on the first night of Operation Iraqi Freedom, deploying overseas seven times, and commanding a Joint Special Operations Forward Air Support detachment as part of the global war on terror.

Matt will always fight for America because he knows that with hard work, anything is possible. Exposed to his parents’ entrepreneurship and inspired by businessmen like Donald Trump, Matt started working in a local deli when he was 9 years old and worked through middle school and high school. In college, Matt started a t-shirt business and spent his summers working heavy construction.

While stationed at Naval Air Station Lemoore, Matt fell in love with the Central Valley, and used his savings to start a property management business. He now operates several small businesses providing yard and tree care, property management, and construction services in Tulare County and is a real estate broker and contractor.

As a veteran business owner, Matt has experienced first-hand the dire impacts of the Biden Administration on small businesses. Like many Central Valley employers, Matt has been fighting to succeed despite rampant inflation, supply chain delays, labor shortages, and rising crime. After thieves robbed his business late last year, Matt vowed to engage and strike out against dangerous progressive policies that have adversely affected local hard-working families. In Congress, he’ll bring that fight to protect all Americans and the Central Valley from the policies that threaten our rights, our security, and the future prosperity of our great state, region, and country.

Matt lives in Visalia, CA with his son. He is a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, coaches Cal Ripken Youth Baseball, and supports the George McCann Catholic school of Visalia, the Boy Scouts of America, the Tailhook Education Foundation, and the Wounded Warrior Foundation.
